Surer and Etiqa launches Go-Helper insurance, a fully customisable migrant domestic worker insurance product

The Go-Helper insurance product is fully customisable and exclusively available on the Surer platform. It can be distributed by Surer’s intermediary users who represent Etiqa.

Singapore, 12 December 2023 – Local insurtech Surer today announced the launch of a fully customisable migrant domestic worker (“MDW”) insurance product with Etiqa Insurance Singapore  (“Etiqa”). Called Go-Helper insurance, intermediaries are allowed to customise the product from a list of 12 coverages based on their client’s needs. Coverage includes outpatient medical (due to accident), repatriation and termination expenses. It also covers traditional chinese medicine expenses due to accident.

The Go-Helper insurance product is the third product to be launched, along with the Car and Motorcycle products, since the announcement of the partnership between both companies on 14 June 2023. Through the integration of its systems, intermediaries are able to digitally obtain instant quotes for these products and provide confirmation directly with Etiqa to bind the policies.

Surer had recently announced the signing of an MOU with the Association of Employment Agencies (Singapore) (“AEA(S)”) to provide Employment Agencies better access to appropriate insurance plans for their customers through digitalisation and the launch of the Go-Helper insurance product will reinforce this commitment.
