Surer partners with insurer Fusion and broker Anapi to offer AgentGuard Pro, a first-in-market General Insurance Agent Professional Indemnity Insurance

In a tripartite partnership between Surer, Fusion and Anapi, General Insurance Agents can now purchase Fusion’s General Insurance Agent Professional Indemnity Insurance through Anapi via Surer’s insurtech platform.

Singapore, 9 April 2024 – Local insurtech Surer today announced a tripartite partnership with specialty insurer Fusion Specialty Asia (Singapore) Pte Ltd (“Fusion”) and Aetna Insurance Brokers Pte Ltd (“Anapi”) that allows General Insurance Agents to purchase a first-in-market Professional Indemnity insurance product in Singapore. 

Called AgentGuard Pro, the policy will indemnify agents against claims arising from the performance of their general insurance agent services. Coverage includes inquiry costs, public relations expenses and sub-contractors and consultants costs.

The partnership leveraged the strength of each business to successfully create the AgentGuard Pro product. Fusion specialises in underwriting specialty insurance products including professional indemnity while Anapi has a strong background in multi-specialty insurance and brokers who can offer clear advisory. Surer will provide the tech platform to supercharge the workflow and processes between the two companies to enable a seamless distribution process; from instant quotation to policy binding and issuance.
